ABOUT
We’re driven by three goals — completeness, accuracy, and timeliness — so our clients have clarity when building their business.
Who We Serve
We work best with growing businesses and nonprofits — typically $500K - $5M in annual revenue — who need an accountant’s judgement behind their books, not just data entry. We provide records build to a standard your CPA can rely on at tax time, not rebuild.
Our Approach
We start every relationship the same way: a thorough review, an honest conversation about where things stand, and a clear plan forward — no assumptions, nothing rushed.
From there, after thorough reconciliation, review, and scrutiny, we maintain an ongoing relationship with our clients, providing them monthly updates, so they never feel behind again.
Our Team
Leah McCool
Founder | Accounting Manager
With a vision for creating an accounting business culture leading with humanness, Leah founded Orca Accounting after years in the corporate world, where she saw firsthand how easily financial support can become transactional, impersonal, and disconnected from the people it’s meant to serve.
Her background spans corporate accounting, audit, small business accounting, and startup accounting, giving her the rigor to hold books to the highest standard, and the perspective to know that numbers only matter when someone understands what they mean. She founded Orca to bring both — precision and presence — to businesses and nonprofits that resonate with our approach.
Staff Accountant
Allyson klein
Warm, precise, and deeply service-minded, Allyson brings heart and rigor in equal measure to her work as staff accountant. Her path into accounting started in the nonprofit world, where she supported executive teams and congregations of hundreds — and along the way discovered a genuine love for turning messy numbers into clear, trustworthy reports.
Today, Allyson keeps the details running smoothly behind the scenes — clean and organized books, regular and timely reconciliations, and reports that give Orca clients exactly what they need to make smart decisions. She brings the same warmth and care to the numbers that she has brought to boardrooms and congregations.
